Kingfishers ( Y2)
Our topic this term includes daily living in Africa, the children will be immersed in learning about food, homes and clothes. The pupils will have access to a range of primary and secondary resources to explore different areas of learning.
In English we will be continuing to focus on developing our speaking and listening skills in order to become more confident in sharing our ideas and learning with others.
In Maths we will be continuing to develop our knowledge and understanding of number in the four areas of Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication and learning to effectively apply their skills in different contexts involving number lines.
Discuss your children’s learning at home and support them to build their confidence in key areas.
Reading is a big focus for Kingfishers this term, Please try to read with your child at least 4 times a week and discuss what you have read – what might happen next? Why did a character behave in a certain way?
